The British Wool Rosalind Jumper is a modern take on our classic Aran. Using a combination of beautiful Aran patterns together with the unique welt, you can style this jumper with your favourite dress, leggings, or jeans.
Symmetry goes out of the window with the Rosalind Jumper. We have carefully selected patterns that showcase this jumpers character as well as having different lengths on the front and reverse. The helical pattern in the centre is a nod to Rosalind Franklin and her exceptional work applied to DNA.
Rosalind earned a Ph.D. in physical chemistry from Cambridge University.
She learned crystallography and X-ray diffraction, techniques that she applied to DNA fibers. One of her photographs provided key insights into DNA structure. Other scientists used it as evidence to support their DNA model and took credit for the discovery. Franklin died of ovarian cancer in 1958, at age 37.
