UK Knitwear Manufacturing
Mars Knitwear provides specialist knitwear manufacturing from our factory in Wigston, Leicester. We work with brands, designers and organisations looking for high-quality production using 100% wool yarns sourced through UK suppliers.
Our experienced team supports projects from initial development and sampling through to knitting, hand finishing, labelling and packing. Whether you are launching a new knitwear product or looking for a capable UK manufacturing partner, we can assess your design, quantity and production requirements.

Minimum Orders
Minimum production runs typically start from 20 garments. The precise minimum may depend on the design, yarn, colour requirements and manufacturing method.
We welcome enquiries from emerging designers, new clothing brands, established labels, corporate customers and other suitable organisations.
Sampling and Production Times
A typical sampling or production project takes approximately four to six weeks, depending on the complexity of the style, yarn availability and finishing requirements.
As of September 2026, our existing production capacity is fully allocated for approximately the next 12 months. We are still happy to discuss future projects and assess requirements for later production availability.
Submitting an enquiry does not reserve a production slot. Timings and availability will be confirmed after we have reviewed the project.
